EVENT DAY INFORMATION

Colin’s Hope will post the final Best Duck Race Ever to our Facebook page on Saturday, December 11 at 9AM CST.

• 9:00AM – Race begins on Facebook! Watch to meet the team and see the duck shenanigans before the races begin.
  • MAIN Ducks will race down the creek first.
    • Funds raised from these smaller, more colorful, and wacky MAIN ducks will directly support our proven water safety and drowning prevention programs.
  • GOLDEN Ducks will race in the creek after the Main Duck Race winners have been announced.
    • Funds raised from these bigger GOLDEN ducks will help support the general operating costs of Colin’s Hope so that our team can continue to operate and offer gold standard and proven water safety and drowning prevention programs.
  • Winners will be asked to complete the Preferred Prize Form*** no later than Monday, December 13 at 5:00PM.
  • SEE BELOW FOR A FULL LIST OF AVAILABLE PRIZES WITH MORE PRIZES BEING ADDED EVERY DAY!

• Winners will be posted on this webpage within 24 hours of the race and the video will be available for replay via Facebook
• Winners will be contacted via email to choose their preferred prizes.
• Winners will be asked to complete a Preferred Prize Form*** no later than Monday, December 13 at 5:00PM.
• Prizes will be confirmed and delivered or shipped by the following week
• ***The Prizes will be given out in order of the preference of the winners. For example, the first place duck winner gets the first choice of a prize, then the second, then the third, and so on until we run out of prizes
• If any winner does not complete the prize form, the preference will roll down to the next winner and a prize will be chosen for the remaining winners after the preference forms are honored

THE MAIN DUCK RACE

Funds raised from ducks sponsored in the main race will directly support our proven water safety and drowning prevention programs. What can your ducks do?

• 1 duck can supply 1 life jacket to a waterfront life jacket loaner station.
• 5 ducks can supply 100 water safety information cards and water guardian badges to parents & caregivers.
• 15 ducks can support 2 children in a local water safety program that includes 8 swimming lessons, 8 water safety education lessons, and parent education.
• 25 ducks can support 4 children in a local water safety program that includes 8 swimming lessons, 8 water safety education lessons, and parent education.
• 50 ducks can provide one school or organization with a virtual water safety curriculum kit.
